The Space

Our cottage has 3 bedrooms, an open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area. We have one bathroom and a separate toilet. Our B'n'B guests stay in the down stairs bedroom with a queen size bed and TV. You will have your own heater to control your room environment. We can also accommodate an extra 2 guest in an upstairs bedroom if you have a larger group (2 single futons), children are welcome.

Guest Access

Guests have access to everywhere on the lower floor except locked storage spaces. The kitchen is available for guests to use for meals (there is a guest fridge).
We have off street parking should you have a vehicle.

Interaction with Guests

We are made keen snowboards who love to get first tracks. We are very familiar with the mountain and can point out the best areas to suit your skill and adventure levels. In the evenings we enjoy reading, watching movies and TV series, playing cards and a nice chat over a social drink.

The Neighbourhood

We are located close to the main Hirafu area (10 minute walk) but in a nice quiet street. We are 160 m from a Hirafu free shuttle bus stop which makes getting to and from the lifts and gondola very easy. There are numerous restaurants in the area.

Getting Around

GETTING TO RED FOX COTTAGE - IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE PRE-BOOK BUS/TRAIN TRANSFER FROM AIRPORT TO NISEKO
Please book your bus or train transfer from the Airport or Sapporo city as soon as your flights are confirmed as during peak season the buses may be full (most online bookings require you to book at least 10 days in advance). We provide a complimentary shuttle pickup and drop off to our cottage from/to the loacl bus terminal or train station.
Below are the only destinations that we do pick up and drop off shuttles to. Please ensure that you only book to the following destinations. Otherwise you'll have to organise your own transport to the cottage.
- Bus: Hirafu Welcome Centre
- Train: Kutchan Town Station
Please email your arrival time at least 7 days prior to your stay, so we can arrange for your transfer to the cottage.
Please note we do not have a 24 hour reception. We need to know your approximate arrival time, so we can meet you and check you in.

Other Things to Note

There are other activities other than skiing or snowboarding, indoor rock climbing, snow shoeing, snow mobiles, cooking classes, tours, the list just goes on.
There are lovely indoor and outdoor Onsens in the Niseko area.
