We spent a week with Gail and Barry. We have been treated like part of the family. Outstanding hosts. Amazing breakfast different and delicious every day before helping us to get to the skiing slopes. The house is made timber in local cottage style. Absolutely recommended.

Red Fox cottage is well located 5 minutes walking from the bus stop and several restaurants and the walk to town is only 20 minutes. We took full advantage of the lift with Barry and Gail to be standing in the queue for the first gondola at Annupuri each morning. Great cooking facilities meant we could prepare a home cooked meal when we wanted a night in. Very easy place to stay with friendly and very helpful host`s.

This place was amazing!!! Barry and Gail were the best host and now friends we could have hope for!!! Willingness to help, to give a ride to wherever needed to go. Gave us complete access to mountains very near by. Meaning their are up first thing in morning to get you to the resorts and/or mountains to get first tracks and their place is within mins to the resorts and mountain to ski or snowboard. And its not just the ride they give, they will ride and show the mountain and find you the freshest tracks and lines to be found. The cottage was super clean and welcoming, the bed was extra comfortable. Gave advice of good eats in and around the town. They were two really really awesome people; genuinely nice kind people. I highly recommend the place to everybody looking for good time and good riding buddies. Thank you Barry and Gail, Puna and Pamakane

The quality of this place is only surpassed by the quality of the hosts. Barry and Gail were fantastic in every regard - from making sure that we knew the best spots on the mountain, to making sure that we were comfortable in the cottage. Loved the cooking and the long chats! The cottage is very comfortable, just away from the noise of the village but very walkable to everything that you need. Will definitely be back!

Red Fox Cottage is a great place to stay, it is located in East Hirafu, near some good places to eat (Burger Boss does a mean Teriyaki Beef burger) and is close to a free shuttle bus stop that can take you into town/slopes (or you can walk in 20 mins). The room was cozy but had plenty of storage space, amazing underfloor heating and a bed that was so comfortable it guarantees a good night's sleep. Barry and Gail are incredible hosts, they welcomed us into their beautiful home and were happy to take us to the slopes each morning (especially after a good powder dump!) Their passion for snow-boarding is infectious and each morning Gail cooked a delicious breakfast which kept us going till lunch. If we come back to Niseko (and I hope we do) we will without a doubt try and book into Red Fox Cottage.
